The Mother Muffin Affair is the third episode of 'The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.' and stars Stefanie Powers as agent April Dancer along with special guest star Robert Vaughn as chief enforcement agent Napoleon Solo, the two having temporarily been partnered up. This is the only episode in the series which does not feature her regular partner, agent Mark Slate, played by Noel Harrison. Harrison instead was playing temporary partner himself to Illya Kuryakin on that week's episode of 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.', 'The Galatea Affair'.
Synopsis[]
U.N.C.L.E. Agent Napoleon Solo is in London with April where they are to pick up instructions in the form of a half-penny in a beggar's cap. Unfortunately, Solo was followed from the airport by Mother Muffin, an elderly lady who leads a group of assassins bent on retrieving the half-penny first.[1]
